Jamie Cogburn is a Las Vegas personal injury lawyer and a founding member of J. Cogburn Car Accidents and Personal Injury Lawyers. His practice is dedicated to representing clients in cases involving personal injury. Jamie has represented hundreds of individuals harmed by others’ negligence and is highly committed to fighting for the compensation each deserves, whether through settlement or trial.

Jamie grew up in Sherman, Texas, before moving to Reno, Nevada, where he graduated from Reno High School. Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada and graduated cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2003. After law school, Jamie worked for the Honorable Ron Parraguirre as a judicial law clerk before working at a prominent Las Vegas law firm.

Jamie is honored to serve as the 2023 President of the Nevada Justice Association. In addition, Jamie also acts as a Trustee for Citizens for Justice, wherein he fights for Nevadans’ rights in the state legislature. Jamie is actively involved in protecting the local community. Jamie continues to donate his time and resources to charitable organizations, such as Give to Learn, Three Square Food Bank, Boys and Girls Club, and Shade Tree. J. Cogburn Car Accidents and Personal Injury Lawyers offers annual need-based scholarships to individuals who have overcome great adversity but continue to move forward with life.

Jamie is actively involved in protecting the local community from insurance company abuses. He also dedicates a tremendous amount of time to helping those in financial need.

Outside the office, Jamie spends time with his three children and fiancé. Jamie enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
